Health Justice Australia was established in 2016, thanks to founding support from Clayton Utz Foundation and Justice Connect. We are now working to attract additional funders to achieve our strategic objectives of improving health and justice for vulnerable communities around Australia.
Your funding can help improve health and justice outcomes in Australia.
Our current priorities for funding are:
• our collaboration with health and legal researchers to develop a national evaluation framework that identifies the impact and effectiveness of HJPs, how and for whom
• our development of resources to support practitioners working in partnership, such as template partnership agreements and guidance for sharing information about people accessing the services of HJPs
• our national events that bring together HJP practitioners, researchers and policy-makers to build the national impact of this innovative, integrated service model and its effectiveness in improving health and justice outcomes across Australia.
